Currently enrolled as an Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Information Technology undergraduate student.

At Etegent Technologies, Ltd., co-op students get a chance to do just that. Etegent offers opportunities to make a difference in a wide range of fields, including military and commercial aerospace manufacturing and maintenance.

Within the NLign Analytics Division, co-op students will help with the development and support of our data management system, which is used to collect, organize, archive, analyze and visualize digital radiographic and ultrasonic non-destructive inspection images on a 3D model.  Our software supports military maintenance organizations and large commercial aircraft manufacturers to improve aircraft safety and reduce costs.

The tasks performed by co-op students vary and are based on the individual’s skills, interests, knowledge, and aptitude. Etegent has a long history of working with co-op students to help them achieve their professional goals. Typically co-op students work closely with one of Etegent’s lead systems designers to help design, develop, test and support software enhancements. Co-op students are constantly challenged to learn new technology.

The general types of activities that co-op students will be involved in include design and development of software, systems networking, database support and quality control processes. Desired experience includes:

·       Object oriented programming;

·       C/C++, Matlab, Python, SQL, XML, and Java programming;

·       3D CAD/CAM/CAE modeling experience/interest;

·       Android and iOS development;

·       Proficiency in linear algebra;

·       3D graphics and animation development;

·       Java enterprise / web application server experience; and

·       General computer administration skills.

Additional activities include conducting testing, data analysis, interacting with customers, and miscellaneous office duties.

U.S. Citizen or Green Card required.
