Etegent Sponsors The Citizens Motorcar Company, America’s Packard Museum

Etegent Technologies has entered into a sponsorship agreement with The Citizens Motorcar Company, America’s Packard Museum in Dayton, Ohio. The company’s donation allowed the museum to enhance the marine and aviation engine exhibit, including the construction of new engine stands, signage and lighting. As a result of the sponsorship, the exhibit will now be known as the “Packard Marine and Aircraft Engine Exhibit Sponsored by Etegent Technologies Ltd.”

“While the Packard has a fairly known history in the automotive industry, among the company’s true innovations is its V-1650 liquid-cooled engine that powered the Spitfire and Hurricane fighters during the Battle of Britain in 1940, as well the P-51 Mustang,” said Tom Sharp, principal of Etegent Technologies. “Our company is very active in the Dayton area with ongoing relationships with the military at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. We recognized an opportunity to help one of the many great historical museums in the area, and a small donation has gone a long way. Anyone interested in aviation history should visit the Packard Museum to learn more about what is widely believed to be the finest piston-driven aircraft engine of all time.”

“We appreciate the care and consideration that Etegent has expressed for our museum through its sponsorship,” said Jackie Maddox, events director for America’s Packard Museum. “The donation helps us to enhance and maintain our historical displays, helping to provide our guests with a more informative and engaging experience.”
